Imagine it took you ten years to get feedback on what you’re working on now. That would be far too long for you to do anything about the feedback.

imagine instead of a daily standup someone suggested having them hourly. You wouldn’t have time to do much actual work to get feedback on so it would be a waste of time.

A lot of the process we use in software development is about improving feedback loops. We want to avoid building the wrong thing so we try to get feedback from customers as early as possible. We don’t want to build the thing wrong so we ask for reviews on our PRs.
