It's hard to review your own work
When you’re working in a team having another pair of eyes review something, whether it’s a PR, document, or email helps pick up errors you’ve missed yourself. This is great.
When you’re working solo you should review your own work as if it was someone else’s. That gives you a better chance of picking up errors but it’s hard to do when you did the work in the first place.
Having a break between finishing the work and reviewing it can help reset your brain and make it easier to pick up mistakes. Context switching is normally bad as it takes time but this is one of the places it can help. The process of switching back to the work can help you notice something that’s wrong.
